Kaye nodded her head, "Now sounds good." she said as she watched him walk to the door before her head turned scanning for the stupid blond chick that would probably find some way to do something. She shrugged and walked after him seeing that he was waiting for her. She saw that she had his keys and shook her head. "No way we are taking my car." she said taking his keys from him and rushing out the door. She never let really drunk people behind the wheel. It was okay to her if someone had like two or three but she wasn't sure of how many he had so its a no go.
She walked towards the black jeep that was almost camoflaged as seh waited to see if he was gonna like take his keys and force her to ride with him.

He walked out shaking his head "you follow me!" He walked to his car opening the door and getting in he tried to start it and relized he didnt have the keys. So he opened the glove compartment and took out the spare set starting his car. he started to back out and just missed a car in the spot near his he pulled foreward and waited for her to get behind him as he rubbed his face and smiled.

Kaye sighed and pulled herself into her jeep tossing his keys onto her passenger side seat. He was going to wreck. She knew it as soon as he pulled out and almost hit the car behind him. She started her vehicle and backed out of the space pulling behind him. "Don't kill yourself on the way!" she yelled out at him. She waited for him to g. Kaye drove like a maniac. This was obvious if one had ever seen her drive. Even sober.

He laughed and suddenly his car lurched back almost smashing into hers then it stopped inchs away and bursts foreward as he took off driving. He thought he was completly sober and capable of driving but that obviously wasnt the case as he drove down the street. To his credit he wasnt swaying on the rode and was pretty staright but it seemed as though if he tried to turn he would flip the car.

Kaye was taken back by that and she slammed on her brakes so he wouldn't mess up her jeep. IT was her baby after all. Kaye drove out behind him, one hand hanging out the door the other firmly on the wheel as she followed Derek. He was making her laugh and if he killed himself then god knows what she would do. She thanked god that it wasn't a very long drive tot he prison. This would be hilarious though she had to admit.

He continued to drive and then shit hit the fan when he had to make a hard right. He passed it halfway and decided to turn right then hard and his car spun out then flipped twice. It landed upside down and steaming D stayed inside the car not moving he looked as if he was sleeping as he lay there in the seat still buckled with the air bag rapidly deflating now but luckily or rather unluckily prehaps there was no one else around at the time of the crash. It may not be so bad he may not even be all that hurt but alot could go wrong in the next few minutes and he wasnt moving.

IT all seemed in slow motion. THe car flipping over and staying down. Kaye's foot went ot the brake as she put her jeep in park before unbuckling her seatbelt. Instantly feeling guilty as she ran to the car. SHe knew she had to get him out of the car. "Derek!" she yelled forcing open the door as best as she could. SHe saw him unconcious sitting there his eyes closed. "Fuck Fuck fuck." she said unsure of whether she should call an ambulance or get him out of the car first. Kaye unsure of what to do she try to pull the door open more. She reached in what little spce she had trying to work with his seatbelt trying to get it undone.

The car diir barley moved and the seatbelt was on the otherside of him now. He lay there barley breathing from the whole thing a bit of blood dripping from his forehead as he lay there in this almost surreal situation his body limp and she was trying hard to get him out of the car. suddenly there was a fire in the engine and the smell of gas there was only a minute if that before this car was gonna blow.

Kaye smelled the gas and she tried to reach over more to unhook it. She still couldn't reach it even a little bit. Damn her short arms right about now. She knew the car was about to blow and she knew she coudln't get him out in time. She stil cared about him plus she didn't want a guilty concious...yes contrary to popular beliefs she had one. Kaye felt her arm get cut on a peice of glass from the window. "Derek come on wake up." she yelled still reaching. She felt the metal part of the seatbelt and she tried to unhook it now. Less than a minute.

He belt fell away and his body landed on the ground hard he woke only slightly and he tossed a bit but then was knocked right back out he lay there black smoke filtering into the car as he breathed in. There was glass embedded within him all over his body. He saw kay trying to get him out and smelled the gas but that was the end of it he feel right back out after that laying within the car.

Kaye felt the belt come loose and she hurried to get him out the car. She hated the smell of smoke and how it made her cough. Fire smoke that is. SHe grabbed DErek trying to pull him out now through the window. He was unconcious again so he wouldn't mind a few more glass bits now. "come on come on." she said more to herself as seh stood trying to get him out. The door hadn't budged much so that was out of the question. But she managed to get him out a few feet away from the burning car. This night turned into a nightmare.

He laid still completly out of it when the car exploded and he was hit by some debrie flying around causing scraths and minor cuts upon his body. the car landed a few feet away and up a little bit. He lay there his breath began to get more and more shallow. He opened his eyes weakly with a smile "Hey....I almost made that turn..."

Kaye pulled him a little away before the car went into flames. She ducked her head to avoid debris that came flying by them. she got hit with some metal scraps but nothing major, or so she thought. She was more worried about Derek than herself. He was in pretty bad shape. "Hey....I almost made that turn..." his voice sounded like he was going to die right then and there. Kaye looked at him and shook her head slowly. "You should have just let me drive. I would have taken your car." she said giving him a small smile. So much for the party in the jail cell.

He laughed a bit some blood spraying into the air as he did he shook his head. "Nah.....then we both...would be...dyi...." His voice trailed off as his breaths grew more shallow the gripped her arm and smiled brighty. "Goodnight.....dont cry...its what I want..." His eyes slowly began to close.
