Josh let a grin dawn on his face, the burden of immense anger lifting off his shoulders. If one thing about him was best, he could bring on anger as easily as he could release it, if he chose to do so.

"Ch. If you ever could." he mumbled with a smirk. He turned, taking the bleachers two at a time to jog out to the basketball court. The guys there immediately cleared out, one of the taller ones that Josh knew relatively well tossed him the ball. "Yo, go get 'em J-Mac." he said in greeting and closing as he walked his own way. Josh expertly spun the ball on a finger, his powerful form leaning to a bit and he released the ball, watching it embrace the net.

"Yeah, alright. You try that, man." he laughed, tossing Kaden the ball.

"Oh I could." he said following Josh and looking at the guys. He knew some but didn't acknowledge them. He knew lots of people had lost respect for him when he decided to keep the baby but it was still enough to annoy him. Kaden hated when he did that. Made shots that no one else could possibly make.

Kaden caught the ball in his hands and spinned it on his finger with ease but when he shot he missed. "Damn I lost my touch." he said shaking his head and ran to the ball catching up to it quickly before he had to run too far. Kaden dribbled it to the hoop and shot from the painted three point line. He made it after hitting the headboard. Shaking his head he passed it to Josh.

"That's not all you lost." Josh murmured darkly, his eyes watching Kaden's first shot. It looked like they weren't so well matched anymore. Josh brushed it off and took the ball, driving to the net and leaping up to let the ball find its way to the thick white threads. He threw another one at the hoop and it hit the backboard, dangerously spinning on the rim before falling it. He passed it to Kaden, now silent. Inside, he was watching him, evaluating his every move. Seeing how much of the old Kaden was really gone.

"Shut up." he said shooting a glare Josh's way. his hearing was better now, not that it wasn't before. Kaden caught the ball before dribbling in between his legs with ease as he walked to another spot farther from where he was. He stopped dribbling and shot the ball. It was nothing but net. Kaden ran a hand through his hair as he waited for J to shoot. He could tell he was being atch. Josh's stares were obvious.

Josh's glare got more intense and his lip curled slightly in disgust. "Oh. Score one." He knew he was pushing Kaden, something he usually didn't do. And though he had pledged him is support, he couldn't help but be annoyed. Josh caught the ball and lazily threw it at the basket. It fell in. Shit, he hadn't been MVP for nothing. He threw the ball hard into Kaden's chest and brushed past him. "You play. I'm not getting any better by doing this." he grumbled, sprawling himself on the bleachers. He glanced at Kaden's stance. Slouched. Where's the prideful stare and that confident smirk. Gone. It died when your kid was born. Josh glanced at his watch. He gave this two minutes till he got annoyed enough to just leave Kaden there.

Kaden caught the ball before it collided with his chest. He knew Josh was angry with him. "Dude, What's your problem?" Kaden's voice sounded edgy. He was no longer slouching like before but was standing straight and staring at him. There ws nothing wrong with him. He was perfectly fine, Josh was having issues he thought.

"I'm not the one with the problem." he replied testily, looking directly at his friend now. "Look at you. You're a mess. It bothers me just how fucked over you look." And how much you've fucked up. Josh thought, his eyes cold. His anger flared, but he wasn't in a fighting mood. His pity held back the fist that he might have thrown into his best friend's face.
